Third Eye seeks an Account Executive to provide essential communications support to our team. An ideal candidate is able to take ownership over their work and complete it to Third Eye’s standards, and will thrive in our unique work culture centered around collaboration, teamwork, and creativity.
Duties include, but are not limited to, media relations for multiple accounts and projects at the agency; news tracking; managing publication subscriptions; overseeing interns in organizing, reading, and capturing coverage of periodicals, daily newspapers, and Google Alerts; scanning and formatting of clippings for clients, as well as maintaining Third Eye’s archive and reference library in a rigorous and tidy fashion. The role includes maintenance of media reports, research, management, and updates to databases, as well as occasional event support.
Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience working in public relations, demonstrate a background with cultural / art communications work, possess outstanding writing skills, be active and proficient on social media, and have strong interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and their file formats is preferred, in addition to close familiarity with cloud-based storage services such as Dropbox and Google Drive.
