Assistant Director

Kayne Griffin is seeking a full-time Assistant Director. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and articulate with excellent communication and writing skills and a professional demeanor. Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and ability to adapt to changing priorities are critical to this position. We are looking for someone who will bring a positive attitude to our team-oriented organization.

The Assistant Director position supports Directors acting as a project manager and coordinator through other gallery departments including Archive and Operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to support in the following areas:

• Exhibitions – assist with exhibition management including expense tracking and coordinating with Operations team.• Art Fairs – oversee calendar and deadlines, assemble materials for applications, manage expense tracking, create all outreach materials and manage to do checklist.

• Artist Management – lend support with key artist projects including exhibitions, production and archives. Outreach to museums and collections for provenance and general artwork history. Perform auction research as needed.

• Client – create sales packages and assist with client collection management.

• Publications – assist with preparing content, overssing logistics and liaising with designer and publisher
