SFMOMA is hiring a Director of Visitor Experience. The Director of Visitor Experience (DVE) is responsible for leading and delivering an innovative service-focused experience for all museum visitors and members, while supporting attendance and revenue goals. The position works across departments to create excellent visitor experiences, ultimately fostering long-term relationships with visitors and members.
The DVE supervises and mentors a management team that coordinate the day-to-day running of the department, together with support from the Membership and the Security team. SFMOMA’s Onsite Community Associate staff (35+) are responsible for Admissions Ticketing, Access Control, Coat Checks, Gallery Host, and Information Desk functions. The OCA staff are cross-trained and cross-functional, in alignment with museum-wide operational
