bj spoke gallery‘s annual EXPO competition will be virtual this year, with images on the gallery’s website, online advertising and artist interviews, and a ZOOM reception. This means that work will not be shipped, because only images will be involved. Our juror is Francesca Altamura, who has served as curatorial assistant at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. She has curated and co-curated exhibitions of emerging artists, and has a broad background in art history. The application fee is $35 and all applications will be processed by the CaFE online organization. Applicants may submit up to 6 images and/or 2 short videos, and any or all of these may be accepted into the show.
