ArtBound Initiative is proud to announce that they are expanding their program destinations and launching in London!

The ArtBound Initiative (ABI) is an agency for individuals seeking professional advancement in the creative fields at an international level. ABI was launched to promote cross cultural work opportunities and provide access into creative industries which are very insular. Their desire is to increase the accessibility of major creative hubs among students for whom distance is a barrier. They remove those barriers, setting up participants not only in a internship tailored to them, but also with everything from housing to internship visas.

Placements are currently available in New York, London, Berlin, and Hong Kong. Strengthened by their network, ABI provides the opportunity for personalized work experiences with creative companies such as McCann Group, TBWA, Spring Studios, Artnet, Printed Matter Inc., and many more!

ArtBound Initiative’s goal is to foster an international network of creative professionals who will become key players in their own industries and regions. They support each of their participants for the launch of their career, beyond their internship through the program.

The ArtBound Initiative program is quite selective to ensure that companies always receive high quality interns. Therefore, some ABI participants experience full-time job offers after completing their internships. Paul, from Brussels was hired as a Digital Strategist after his internship with the creative agency, Reflexgroup in New York. He recently moved on with Select Word, an international agency in Hamburg, Germany. ABI Alumna, Hannah, has now been hired as the Head of Communications at SCOPE Art Show in New York City. Similarly, Fion interned with Reflexgroup this Spring and was hired as a junior designer. Other participants complete their internships and excel into various creative jobs or pursue their own artistry. Ryan, who interned in Berlin in 2017, recently co-founded and launched Midwestern Press, an independent publishing company and bookstore located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Another previous participant, Ivan who interned at an artist studio last fall in New York recently got selected for best photo by Vogue and is rapidly gaining traction as a fashion photographer.

The ArtBound Initiative program aims to create one of the strongest network of creative professionals who will all be key players in their regions.
